Mary Berg family had a car accident when she was four years old. The father died whereas her mother and brother survived with injuries.
She had a traumatic experience as her family breaks down after this incident. From the age of seven, Berg prepared meals for her family and by the age of thirteen, she was cooking dinner on her own.
Mary does not remember her father that well as she was just four when he passed away, but she remembers his kindness. She had memories of her father who always shared everything including food.
