Tye Kayle Sheridan is an American actor and producer who is best known for playing the young Scott Summers / Cyclops in the reboot X-Men film series.
He is also known for playing the lead role of Wade Watts in Ready Player One. In 2020, along with visual effects artist Nikola Todorovic, he co-founded the AI production tools company, Wonder Dynamics.

His mother had a few jobs and was quite business savvy. She was a massage therapist and did permanent cosmetics. During his early teen years, she got her own salon with part of the salon being a clothing boutique. His father works as a driver for UPS.
During his childhood, he baseball, football, and basketball and has the dream of becoming a baseball player. However, he gave up the dream when he realized that he wasn’t good enough to play and be paid for it.
He attended the Elkhart Independent School District. However, since his acting career was taking off, he would often leave school to shoot movies.
His sophomore year was his last year in school, and at the time, he had done three films; Tree of Life, Mud, and Joe.
